You must know for me it’s more about how I feel than what I see.
It’s the energy you give off and bring around me that helps me decide if you’re for me not how I see you.
The saying goes “Things aren’t always what they seem,” so that’s why Jesus gave us a heart to feel too.
Almost like a backup plan if the eyes fail because let’s be honest how many times have you seen something you’ve been frightened of?Judged before knowing the truth behind it? Sacrificed before sharing the pain caused by it?
Sometimes the best thing we can do is close our eyes and feel the truth in our heart about a situation or person because when our heart belongs to Jesus it’ll know without a doubt what’s the best thing for us.
It’ll erase all doubt that the eyes bring with sight and cement the truth within your heart because of the way it makes you feel rather than what you see.
A lot of beautiful and powerful things happen when we just feel and accept what’s in our hearts rather than seeing with our eyes because the world is full of fake things - people included.
There’s a kind of dishonesty or distortion element eyes can create in tough times, possibly made-up situations from the tricky our minds play within our sight.
So when you think your eyes are playing tricks on you remember to breathe, close your eyes, see Jesus, and open your heart while embracing the world within it.
